I was pleasantly surprised by all of the items. I have or will use all of the items except one I gave the nature box trail mix to my sister the mix was just not for me. My favorite item is the Too Faced eyeshadow! It is beautiful and I love the neutral colors I use mostly brown on my eyes and I just love it!  I also love the EcoShopper it lives in my pocketbook (which is HUGE incase I ever need it!)

The UniVoxBox from Influenster!

Hello Babblers!

As many of you know I am obsessed with free samples(check out some tips HERE!) So when I first found out about influenster I was extremely excited! Influenster is a service that is interested in finding opinions about products. When you first log on you select certain badges that apply to you and complete some surveys as well as some reviews and activities to qualify for a VoxBox. These boxes have a theme and are filled with items that target a certain group of people. You need to qualify for a box. My second box is the UniVoxBox. It is targeted for college/post graduate students in my age group. This box had some awesome items and I was very excited to receive it. I am going to start with the Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons. Personally I do not use tampons so these went to my sister who loves them! They are her favorite tampons and she loved the odor shield.

The Pilot AcroBall Pen is fantastic! I have a new favorite pen! It writes with a super smooth black ink and it comes in all white with a splash of color. The one I received is yellow but there are a lot of colors that they offer! I recommend picking some up!

The RedRose Real Tea Water Enhancer lives in my purse. I drink water or fresh brewed green tea normally and that is it. However I really enjoyed this enhancer so I have it in my bag for when I need a splash of flavor! It tastes great!!

The NYC New York Color Expert Last Lip Color does what it says. It lasts a decent amount of time. I took it off fairly quickly I couldn’t do it anymore it was very vibrant in color and it was just not me at all…I am not a fan of lip color I love my blistex. I would recommend it to anyone who likes lipstick it was just not for me based on my preferences.

The Broadway Nails imPRESS Manicure was FANTASTIC! I put them on Monday morning (it is now late thursday) they are still on. I was extremely skeptical. I am not a huge fan of the pattern I have but I LOVE this product. it took me a little while to find the right fit for my nails but once I found the 10 that fit I put them on in 5 short minutes. They were not a perfect fit but it looks good and I am extremely happy with how easy they were to put on and how nice they look I got a ton of compliments at work this week.

Last but not least the Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation I really liked this product it provided great coverage without looking like I was wearing a lot of makeup. It lasted really well too. It matched my skin tone very well and with a little bit of powder it all blended perfectly. I would not have picked this up on my own but I am glad I purchased it! I really like the product and I would recommend checking it out if you are in the market for a new foundation.

It is all a part of life…

At 23 years old I have made some bad decisions in my life. I am not perfect. If I was to say I was I would be lying. This weekend I decided to try out a new look. I am extremely picky with who I let cut my hair. I am very particular because of how curly my hair is. I had a few too many haircuts. I tried a new salon for my last cut and I was blown away. My hair looked amazing. The salon is also around the corner from me. So it is perfect and I can walk over you can not beat that. So I went to the salon on saturday and asked to have the under-layer of my hair lightened one or two shades I wanted a very slight difference. Just something trendy and cute.  Something like this…

Well…My hairdresser took it upon herself to bleach my hair. (keep in mind I just got a teaching job.) I have very dark brown hair. I looked like a SKUNK! It came out this gross orange gold white color it was all different colors and it looks like crap. I pulled up my hair and I looked so ridiculous. It was not a straight layer either. She kept telling me it looked amazing I was mortified. The picture below is what it looked like wet. Once it dried it was a lot lighter and looked worse.

I went home and I cried to my mom. She finally made me call my hairdresser back. So yesterday I went back in to the salon and asked her to dye it back to my natural color. She did..kinda. half of it is still this gross color. Thankfully my hair on top kinda hides it. I am going to wait a few days and I am going to dye it from a box. Because I really feel like crap about this decision.

This is the first thing I have really ever regretted doing to my hair. I have put my hair through hell and back in the past. So that says a lot. Maybe I was hoping for something a bit out of reach… Needless to say I will never let this lady color my hair EVER again. She does a great cut so I will go see her for that but never for something like this.

So for now I look like I have zebra stripes in my hair. Does anyone else have a hair color horror story?

My First Ipsy Glam Bag

Last month I signed up to receive my first Ipsy Glam Bag. Well I am completely in love!! I have been looking for a way to throw some new makeup products into my day to day routine. For $10 this bag is a steal!

The bag is so cute!! I decided to use it as a prize bag in my substitute bag. So It is now filled with stickers and erasers.

The Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick is a great color. As I have said before I am not a huge fan of color on my lips but this is a great shade. It is not too vibrant and just adds a small bit of color to my lips. It has made its way into my makeup bag and I am excited to use it.

The Chella Eyeliner Pen in Indigo Blue is very nice. I have never used an eyeliner pen. It draws such a great line. I am not a huge fan of blue eyeliner but I think I can find some uses for this.

The NYX Love in Rio eye shadow is perfect. I mostly use browns on my eyes so I was so excited to try it. It works well. Did not last very long on its own. I used the Pixi Primer (that did not match my skin tone very well) as a primer and it did help to hold the eye shadow a bit longer!

If you want to try Ipsy I suggest it for $10 a month it is a steal. This first bag makes me a believer! Check out my referral link. From what I have read it is the fastest way to get a bag because there is a waiting list!

Pinch me

I love my Pinch Me boxes. Pinch me is a website that gathers samples. On Tuesdays at noon EST samples are released. It is completely FREE! You are not required to pay a penny. All you are asked to do is answer some questions about the products you received in the box. You get points for the surveys and for sharing reviews about the items on social media. 
This box was great. I received Reviver it is a clothing deodorizer. I was a bit confused. It almost seemed like it was one of the refreshing wipes that have come out recently but it is not. AND it is reusable!  I used it last night and it seems really cool I was going out for dinner and I just swiped it over my clothes and it took away the everyday odor that developed over the day! It is great! I will be keeping it in my purse for sure! I need to get more very soon!!

I also received a small bottle of Clear Scalp & Hair Total Care Shampoo It was not my favorite item I have received. I am really picky about shampoo and this just dried out my hair. So I will not be purchasing it. It is just not what I would use. I am not bashing it at all I think that if you are looking for a cleaner scalp care this would probably be great!

March Julep Maven Box Review

I received my March Julep Maven box on Friday. I am in love with the Riviera collection! The colors were great. I got the Boho Glam box this month. I did not get any add-ons this time around.

I received a cute candy stick as an extra. I do not really eat candy but it was a cute extra. This box came with a lip gloss. I have used it 7-8 times already and I love it! I got the Graceful shade.

It is basically sheer and I love it. I am not a huge fan of a lot of lip color but it adds a nice pop to my lips. It is not sticky like other lip glosses so I will be looking into getting more!

Elisa –  Soft wisteria shimmer

It took 3 coats to cover well but this color is great! it is perfect for spring and will look great as a pedicure color.

Harriet : Guava coral crème

I have never used a color like this before! I am in love. 2 coats for a perfect look! I think I found a new staple color for summer manicures!!

Overall I am still obsessed with Julep and will continue to purchase my boxes.

February Maven Box

So I wanted to show you all my February Julep Maven box! I went for the Bombshell Box this month. Holy cow I am in love with the colors! The box included 3 colors (Love, Kristen, and Judi) I added on Goldie for fun. I will give you a small breakdown of what I thought below!
The polishes this month were so great I did not have love in the box for the picture sorry everyone.

Judi- This was the first color I tried mostly because I LOVE Purple. Itis such an amazing color

Kristen-The best way to describe this is to say it looks like the night sky. It is so beautiful!

  Love- This was the bonus this month. It is gold and pink glitter cute not my style but my cousins will love it for dress up!

Goldie- so cute. very simple gold glitter! Love it!

 Liquid Eye shadow Warm Fig Shimmer- I did not like it at all. I had never tried a liquid eyeshadow and I am sure that is why i will have to give it another chance in the summer when I am tan!

These samples are from P&G! Thank you P&G They send out samples about 4 times a year!Cascade Platinum– Worked well. I did not notice a huge difference. I already use cascade dishwasher tabs but these were nice to use!Gain Fireworks! HOLY CRAP! My laundry smells AMAZING! I washed a sweatshirt in it and the smell is still there a week later hanging in my closet! I suggest you check this out!

I don’t use Prilosec OTC so I have no review I gave it to my uncle.

Julep Maven Box

Lets start with the basics I got the Classic with a Twist box this month (January). The box includedMighty a cuticle serum I have very dry cuticles and this has helped tremendously so far I highly recommend it!!! I also received  2 nail colors! The first its the red color Myrtle. It is so rich and sparkly. I also got Zora a creamy peach color. I fell in love 2 coats and it was a perfect light color. I forgot to take pictures of the colors but I will do that for future boxes.
I purchased the Oxygen nail treatment. It is supposed to be used to restore your nails. I see a difference in my very weak and brittle nails. The Freedom top coat is like any other top coat. I noticed no difference don’t waste your money go to a drug store and grab a top coat if you want one!
